Peremyshlsky District (Russian: Перемы́шльский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,156 square kilometers (446 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Peremyshl. Population: 14,137 (2010 Census); 13,952 (2002 Census);16,105 (1989 Census). The population of Peremyshl accounts for 23.2% of the district's total population.
