Pedro Pullen Parente (born 21 February 1953 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian engineer and administrator, incumbent president of the state oil company Petrobras.

Pedro Parent started his well succeeded tecnocrat carreer when was taken from the Brazilian Central Bank to the Minister of Planning by Andrea Calabi, then executive secretary of minister João Sayad, to help creat the Secretary of National Treasure, in 1986, during the presidency of José Sarney. Years later, would be one of the names associated to the federal administration of Fernando Henrique Cardoso.

Pedro Parente was Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Republic, from 1 January 1999 to 1 January 2003, Minister of Planning, Budget and Management from 6 May to 18 July 1999, executive secretary of Ministry of Finance and Minister of Mines and Energy in 2002, during the government of president Fernando Henrique Cardoso. In that time, was known and "blackout minister", for being the coordinator of the team during the crisis of electricity supply. Since 2010, Parente was CEO and president of Bunge Brazil, one of the biggest tradings in the world, which made available its assests in the sector of sugar and alcohol to concentrate itself in the rentable operations with grains, oilseeds and processed food.

In 19 May 2016, Parente was appointed by then acting president Michel Temer to the office of president of Petrobras. His name was submitted and approved by the Administration Council of the company, essential requirement to take office. He was sworn in 1 June 2017.
