A post office called Pease was established in 1894, and remained in operation until 1994. Pease was named by railroad officials.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.91 square miles (2.36 km2), all of it land.

Pease is located between Milaca and Princeton on U.S. Route 169.
