Parsabad (Persian: پارس آباد, also Romanized as Pārsābād; also known as Fārsābād) is a city in and the capital of Parsabad County, in Ardabil Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 81,782 in 17,638 families. Parsabad is Iran's northernmost city. Parsabad has introduced prominent people to our country, one of which is Nadir Fəllah, living in the village called Aqdam (white house). He studied philosophy at the University of Shahid Beheshti, and continued his studies in Law. He is considered one of the best experts at Azerbaijani language in Ardebil province.
