Norberto Aníbal Napolitano, commonly known by his stage name Pappo (La Paternal, 10 March 1950 – Luján, 24 February 2005), was an Argentinian guitarist, singer-songwriter and composer. He is regarded as one of the best popular artists of his country. He had been considered by B.B. King as one of the best guitarists of all time.

Norberto Napolitano was born in La Paternal, Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina, since his youth he felt great interest in music, his early influences were The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Freddie King, BB King, Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton and Manal.

During the late 60s and throughout the 70's, he was fundamental part of the argentine rock scene, he started playing as occasional guitarist for Manal, but soon joined Los Abuelos de la Nada and later Los Gatos.

In 1971, forms "Pappo's Blues" and that same year releases his first album, also is part of the 1973 documentary "Hasta que se ponga el sol". During the first era of Pappo's Blues in the '70s there were constant line up changes, Napolitano was the only permanent member of the band. Between 1975 and 1980 Pappo lived alternatively in England and Argentina, in the United Kingdom he was in contact with new genres such as punk and the new wave of heavy metal.

During one of his returns to Buenos Aires, in 1977, formed "Aeroblus", since 1980 he stays definitely in Argentina and forms Riff, which is considered one of the most representative bands of argentine rock from the 1980s.
