Omsukchansky District (Russian: Омсукчанский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eight in Magadan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the eastern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 60,400 square kilometers (23,300 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Omsukchan. Population: 5,531 (2010 Census); 6,209 (2002 Census);19,419 (1989 Census). The population of Omsukchan accounts for 75.2% of the district's total population.
