Novouzensky District (Russian: Новоузе́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Saratov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 4,100 square kilometers (1,600 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Novouzensk. Population: 32,248 (2010 Census);33,960 (2002 Census);33,423 (1989 Census). The population of Novouzensk accounts for 52.8% of the district's total population.
