Novaspace was a German Eurodance project which, between 2002 and 2011, covered several 1980s hits, such as "Time After Time", "Guardian Angel" and "Beds Are Burning". They have reached the Top 20 in Germany, Austria and Australia.

Novaspace, which was originated in 2002 by the record producer Felix Gauder, was first fronted by the singer Jessica Boehrs, who was later replaced by Jenny Marsala.

Boehrs was born on September 5, 1980 in Magdeburg. Boehrs started her filming career in 1993. She played in many German TV-films including Die Wagenfelds and the German soap opera Marienhof. She became the frontwoman of the Novaspace in 2002. In 2004, Boehrs starred in a movie Eurotrip released by DreamWorks. Boehrs left Novaspace in 2006, and since December 2006 has played the part for Nina Waldgruber in the German television program Schloss Einstein.

In 2008, Marsala joined Novaspace replacing Boehrs. The first single "Dancing Into Danger" was released in early January 2009. This song is available on Novaspace's Myspace page, along with the 2009 versions of "Run To You", "Dancing with Tears in My Eyes" and "So Lonely". The second single "Time After Time Rebirth", was released on 22 May 2009. The third single release was "Love Changes Everything". Marsala left the band in 2011.

In 2002, Jessica met Stuttgart's dance producer Felix Gauder and they formed Novaspace. Their first single "Time After Time" (a cover version of Cyndi Lauper's 1984 hit-single "Time After Time") released in the first half of 2002 reached number 6 on the German single chart. After gaining enough success with the single at home, Novaspace also entered the Top-20 single charts in Austria (number 7) as well as in Australia (number 15). "Time After Time" charted moderately in Switzerland peaking at only number 67 and number 28 in the Netherlands. Almost a year later, the single even appeared on the single chart of UK which eventually peaked at 29. Their second single "To France", a cover version of Mike Oldfield's 1984 hit single "To France" (featuring Maggie Reilly) was released not long after the first single and reached number 27 in Germany and number 23 in Austria. They separated themselves from one-hit-wonders; however, when their third single "Guardian Angel" hit the stores in December 2002, which was a cover version of Masquerade's 1983 number 1 hit single "Guardian Angel". The single reached number 9 in Germany in January 2003 and peaked at number 11 in Austria. Their full length material entitled Supernova was released in January 2003. The album which comprised cover versions of hit-singles originally done earlier by numerous acts from the 1980s managed to reach number 28 at their home and 39 in Austria. Novaspace released one more single off their album Supernova called "Paradise" which only managed to reach number 48 in Germany and 41 in Austria.
