North Carrollton is a town in Carroll County, Mississippi, United States. The population was 473 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Greenwood, Mississippi micropolitan area.
North Carrollton is located in central Carroll County at 33°31′5″N 89°55′12″W / 33.51806°N 89.92000°W (33.518154, -89.919931). It is bordered to the south by the town of Carrollton, the county seat. The two towns are separated by Big Sand Creek, a tributary of the Yazoo River. Many residents of Carrollton and North Carrollton consider the towns a single entity, simply referred to as Carrollton.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.31 square miles (0.8 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 499 people, 226 households, and 153 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,599.3 people per square mile (621.5/km²). There were 253 housing units at an average density of 810.9 per square mile (315.1/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 56.51% White, 42.89% African American, and 0.60% from two or more races.
