North Amityville is a hamlet in Suffolk County, New York, United States. Located within the Town of Babylon, the population was 17,862 at the 2010 Census.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 35.8% African American, 27.5% White, 1.4% Native American, 11.2% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 12.8% from other races, and 6.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 34.7% 6,237 of the population.
