New Zealand (abbreviated NZL) sent a team of 65 competitors and 19 officials to the 1970 British Commonwealth Games, which were held in Edinburgh, Scotland. Les Mills was the flagbearer at the opening ceremony, and Harry Kent at the closing ceremony.
