Nemsky District (Russian: Немский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,174 square kilometers (839 sq mi). Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Nema. Population: 7,983 (2010 Census); 9,937 (2002 Census);11,410 (1989 Census). The population of Nema accounts for 45.7% of the district's total population.
