Naigaon is a town and taluka in Nanded district of Maharashtra state in India.
Naigaon (Bz.) is located 41.2 km south of the district headquarters city of Nanded and 60 km west from neighboring city of Nizamabad in Telangana State. Naigaon lies on MSH - 6 (Akola - Hyderabad). It is 492 km from the State capital Mumbai. It is the Center of Naigaon Taluka. Naigaon is one of the rapidly growing towns in the Nanded District. Well known for its famous weekly market for livestock, leather and vegetable. The economy is primarily based on agriculture and related business. The main crops grown are Soyabean, Cotton & Pulses. The town has fair medical facilities with a Rural Hospital and Trauma Care Center.
It is one of the largest cloth and fertilizers market in the district. Though it's a big market most of the employable youth migrated to major cities of Maharashtra & adjacent Telangana due to lack of employment sources.
The town is well connected by road with its district capital Nanded and other cities such as Nizamabad, Hyderabad of Telangana State, Aurangabad, Akola of Maharashtra State and Bidar of Karnataka State. It is also connected to adjacent talukas like Degloor, Mukhed, Biloli.
Town have fair educational facilities but for higher education most of the youth prefers cities like [[Nanded]]. Agriculture college Naigaon set it's benchmark in agri education.
