Nahavand County (Persian: شهرستان نهاوند) is a county in Hamadan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Nahavand. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 178,683, in 46,283 families. The county is subdivided into four districts: the Central District, Giyan District, Zarrin Dasht District, and Khezel District. The county has four cities: Nahavand, Barzul, Giyan, and Firuzan.
