Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula

The Muravyov-Amursky Peninsula (Russian: полуостров Муравьёва-Амурского) is a peninsula in the Peter the Great Gulf of the Sea of Japan.

It subdivides the gulf into Amur Bay on its west, and Ussuri Bay on its east. It is approximately 30 km long and 12 km wide.

Named after Count Nikolay Muravyov-Amursky, the peninsula is the site of the city of Vladivostok.

The Eastern Bosphorus separates the city and peninsula from the Russky Island. The eastern shore of the peninsula contains the sandy beaches of the Lazurnaya Bay.
