Mozdoksky District (Russian: Моздо́кский райо́н; Ossetian: Мæздæджы район) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the eight in the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, Russia. It is located in the north of the republic. The area of the district is 1,080 square kilometers (420 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Mozdok. Population: 84,682 (2010 Census); 88,634 (2002 Census);77,063 (1989 Census). The population of Mozdok accounts for 45.8% of the district's total population.
