Morgan's Point Resort is a city in Bell County, Texas, United States. The population was 4,170 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was incorporated in 1970.
Morgan's Point Resort is located north of the center of Bell County at 31°9′24″N 97°27′16″W / 31.15667°N 97.45444°W (31.156543, -97.454580), on the east side of Belton Lake, a reservoir on the Leon River. It is bordered to the south by the city of Temple.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.5 square miles (6.4 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,989 people, 1,114 households, and 894 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,169.7 people per square mile (450.8/km²). There were 1,194 housing units at an average density of 467.3/sq mi (180.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 91.03% White, 0.43% African American, 0.43% Native American, 0.60% Asian, 0.17% Pacific Islander, 5.82% from other races, and 1.51% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.27% of the population.
