Minnewaukan is a city in Benson County, North Dakota, United States. It serves as the county seat and is fourth largest city in the county, after Fort Totten, Leeds, and Maddock. The population was 224 at the 2010 census. Minnewaukan was founded in 1884.

Minnewaukan is located at 48°4′N 99°15′W / 48.067°N 99.250°W / 48.067; -99.250 (48.0713, -99.2506).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.27 square miles (0.70 km2), all of it land.
