Mihama (美浜町? Mihama-chō) is a town located in Mikata District, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
As of May 1, 2017, the town has an estimated population of 9,774 and a density of 64 persons per km². The total area is 152.32 km².
On August 9, 2004, a non-radioactive steam leak killed 5 and burnt 12 others in a nearby Mihama Nuclear Power Plant; the particular high-pressure steam pipe had lost 85% of its wall thickness and failed five days before its first inspection since 1976.
