Mexichem is a Mexican producer in plastic pipes, and one of the largest chemical and petrochemical companies. It was founded in 1953. On August 7, 2017, Mexichem SA announced it would acquire the Israeli irrigation company Netafim from Permira Holdings Ltd. for $1.5 billion.
