Metcalf is a village in Young America Township, Edgar County, Illinois, United States. The population was 189 at the 2010 census.

Metcalf is located at 39°48′4″N 87°48′26″W / 39.80111°N 87.80722°W / 39.80111; -87.80722 (39.801529, -87.805806).

According to the 2010 census, Metcalf has a total area of 0.69 square miles (1.79 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 213 people, 80 households, and 61 families residing in the village. The population density was 385.8 people per square mile (149.5/km²). There were 93 housing units at an average density of 168.4 per square mile (65.3/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.53% White, 0.47% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.47% of the population.

There were 80 households out of which 30.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.0% were married couples living together, 10.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 23.8% were non-families. 18.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 2.97.

In the village, the population was spread out with 26.3% under the age of 18, 13.1% from 18 to 24, 29.6% from 25 to 44, 18.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
