Mayflower Transit, LLC is a moving company founded in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1927 by Conrad M. Gentry and Don F. Kenworthy. In March 1995, it was acquired by UniGroup, a $1.7 billion transportation and relocation services company with headquarters in suburban St. Louis, Missouri.
Based in Indiana at the time, Mayflower earned the ire of Baltimore Colts fans when the company moved the football team in the middle of the night from its headquarters in Owings Mills, Maryland, to its new home in Indianapolis.
