Marathwada Institute of Technology (MIT), is one of the technical institutes of Gramodyogik Shikshan Mandal (GSM) and is located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. Established in 1975, the college offers graduate level qualifications in the faculties of engineering and technology, management, architecture, science and nursing, for postgraduate programs in engineering and technology, management, information technology, and architecture, for vocational level - polytechnic, vocational programs, industrial skill set programs and technical school level programs.

Similarly, students and faculty have access to more than 1000 e-books and more than 1000 national and international journals. MIT is the pioneer in setting up a digital library in this region.

Admission to the undergraduate courses is through the Maharashtra-Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) for state-allocated seats (65%) and through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) for the all-India seats.
MIT is a part of National Knowledge Network, Government of India. It is the first academic institution in India which has been recognised as an Energy Service Company (ESCO) approved by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power. In January 2010, MIT finished first at the Baja SAEIndia 2010 National Competition held at Pithampura, Indore.
