Mami Yamaguchi (Japanese: 山口麻美, Yamaguchi Mami, born August 13, 1986) is a Japanese footballer playing the position of midfielder or forward. She played for Yunogo Belle in the L. League and for the Japanese national football team. She previously played for Florida State Seminoles (NCAA), where she won the MAC Hermann Trophy in 2007. She played for Atlanta Beat (WPS) in the United States and Umeå IK, where she won the double, and made it to UEFA Champions Cup Final, and Hammarby IF in Sweden's Damallsvenskan. She became the first player in Florida State Soccer history to have her jersey retired. In 2017, she has joined Blue United Corporation, a Japanese sport business agency, headquartered in New York.
