MTV France is a 24-hour entertainment channel operated by Viacom International Media Networks Europe. The channel was launched as MTV Networks Europe began to further localize its brand throughout Europe. MTV France (previously MTVF) was launched on June 20, 2000 in France. The channel serves the French-speaking world including Belgium (French-speaking areas), Switzerland (French-speaking areas), Monaco and Africa (French-speaking areas), Morocco on cable. Though, it is not available in Québec.
Its headquarters are based at Viacom International Media Networks Europe in London with a local office at MTV Networks France in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
