Luzsky District (Russian: Лу́зский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 5,360 square kilometers (2,070 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Luza. Population: 18,688 (2010 Census); 22,599 (2002 Census);26,843 (1989 Census). The population of Luza accounts for 60.3% of the district's total population.
