"Love at First Sight" (2001) is the second song of the same title recorded by Australian music artist Kylie Minogue, taken from her eighth studio album Fever (the first, related by title only, was from her 1988 album, Kylie). It was written by its producer Richard Stannard and Julian Gallagher, alongside Minogue, Ash Howes, and Martin Harrington. "Love at First Sight" is a dance song which describes Minogue falling and believing in love at first sight. It was released as the third single, and the second North American single, from the album on 10 June 2002 by Parlophone.
Critical reception towards "Love at First Sight" has been positive; majority of the critics commended the song's commercial appeal and composition. Minor criticism was towards the production similarities of Minogue's previous singles from Fever. In Australia, the song peaked at number three on the Australian Singles Chart. It found more success in the United Kingdom, where it debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart. The single also charted inside the top ten in countries including Canada, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, and New Zealand.
A music video for "Love at First Sight" was directed by Johan Renck, featuring Minogue in a futuristic maze with backup dancers, all shot in single take motion. "Love At First Sight" was first performed on her KylieFever2002 tour, and has featured on all her concert tours. The song was later nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2003, becoming Minogue's first Grammy nomination.
Following the global success of her eighth studio album Fever (2001), and the album's subsequent singles; "Can't Get You Out of My Head", and "In Your Eyes", Minogue's label Parlophone decided to release a third single worldwide. Minogue enlisted several producers including Richard Stannard and Julian Gallagher, both whom work with Minogue previously; the duo wrote "Love at First Sight", alongside Minogue, Ash Howes, and Martin Harrington. It was selected as the third single, and second North American single from Fever, and was released globally on 10 June 2002 by Parlophone. The artwork for "Love at First Sight" was photographed by Nick Knight. During 2002, Minogue launched her Love Kylie lingerie collection, and enlisted Knight to photographed Minogue to promote it; out takes were later re-used for the artwork of "Love at First Sight". Knight worked with Minogue once more on her November 2002 single, "Come into My World". The first artwork features Minogue nude, in front of a blue backdrop, and the second disc is an close-up of Minogue with a red tint.
