Lotos Trefl Gdańsk is a Polish volleyball team, based in Gdańsk. In 2008 the club debuted in the highest level Polish volleyball men's league, PlusLiga. In the seasons 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 the club played in the first league, and in 2011 they returned to PlusLiga. Their home matches are played at the Ergo Arena.
In the 2013/2014 season, Lotos Trefl's coach was Radosław Panas. During his work as main coach the team won 9 times and lost 11 matches. The club didn't play in the PlusLiga play-off and ended the season 2013/2014 in 10th place. In June 2014, the Italian Andrea Anastasi was officially presented as the club's new coach. Anastasi was coach to the Polish national team in 2011-2013 and expressed a desire to work for the club from Gdańsk. New players Damian Schultz (spiker), Mateusz Mika (receiver), Wojciech Grzyb (middle-blocker) wento to club before 2014/2015 season. Team took 3rd place in regular season of PlusLiga. Anastasi's team won 19 and lost 7 matches. On February 23, 2015 Andrea Anastasi signed new two-years contract, because of good results in regular, season till 2017. Lotos Trefl advanced to the final of 2014–15 PlusLiga after winning in semifinal with Polish Champion 2014 PGE Skra Bełchatów (in the competition to three wins, result was 3-1). It is first, historical promotion to the final of Polish Championship.
