The Governors (Spanish: Gobernadores are the supreme executive authorities of each of the twenty-three province (Spanish: provincia) of Argentina.
The City of Buenos Aires, which is an autonomous entity separate from all the provinces, doesn't have a Governor. Instead, it counts with a Chief of Government (Spanish: Jefe de Gobierno), informally referred to as Mayor (Spanish: intendente, Intendant).
Most of the current sitting governors were elected at the 2015 general election.
