Lewis "Bata" Kent (8 September 1927 – 22 June 2014), born Lajco Kopolnai, was an Australian politician. He was born in Subotica in the former Yugoslavia (now located in Serbia), and worked as a stationmaster before entering politics. In 1980, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Labor member for Hotham. He held the seat until 1990, when he attempted to transfer to the newly created Corinella; he was unsuccessful, being defeated by Liberal candidate Russell Broadbent.
Kent died in June 2014.
