"Left Behind" is a song by American metal band Slipknot. The song was released as the lead single from their second album Iowa. "Left Behind" was one of two Slipknot tracks included on Clear Channel's 2001 memorandum of songs they considered offensive in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, the other being "Wait and Bleed".

"Left Behind" was more commercially successful than both "Wait and Bleed" and "Spit It Out", reaching number 30 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and number 24 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 2002, though it lost out to Tool's "Schism". The track was the first single from the band to reach the Australian ARIA Charts, reaching a peak of number 97. This track, along with "Wait and Bleed", "Pulse of the Maggots", and "Snuff", was released as downloadable songs in the Rock Band series.

The music video for "Left Behind", directed by Dave Meyers, focuses on a young boy. First, he goes to a meat market to cut meat. He then goes to his dirty, rundown home where bullies throw stones through his windows. The boy pours filthy water on his Froot Loops and watches an old television set which faintly bears the word "Slipknot" in static. The band is shown performing the song in a dry, dead forest which, toward the climactic end of the video, turns to night and is heavily rained on. As the lead single, "Left Behind" also marked the video debut of Slipknot's new costumes in promotion of Iowa.
