Lashar District

Lashar District (Persian: بخش لاشار‎‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Nik Shahr County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 37,073, in 8,153 families. The District has one city: Espakeh. Lashar is Also home town of Lashari Baloch People.

The name Lashar derives from the son of Mir Jalal Khan, Mir Lashar Khan, Ruler of the territory in the 12th Century and Lashari Baloch is Offspring of Mir Lashar khan Baloch Main tribe of Baloch Nation.
