Larimore is a city in Grand Forks County, North Dakota, United States. It is located 3 miles south of the junction of US Highway 2 and North Dakota Highway 18. It is part of the "Grand Forks, ND-MN Metropolitan Statistical Area" or "Greater Grand Forks". The population was 1,346 at the 2010 census. Larimore was founded in 1881.
Larimore had its start in the year 1881 by the building of the railroad through that territory. It is named for N. G. Larimore, who owned a large farm in the area.
