Lamhi

Lamhi or Lamahi (लमही) is a village near the holy city of Varanasi in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The renowned Hindu and Urdu writer Munshi Premchand was born in this village in 1880.

B.H.U has also established its “Munshi Prem Chandra Memorial Research Institute and Study Centre” in this village
