Koti (Armenian: Կոթի, also Romanized as Kot’i; until 1964, Kotigegh, until 1992, Shavarshavan) is a town in the Tavush Province of Armenia. In 1964, the town was renamed in honor of Shavarsh Amirkhanian (1884–1959), head of the precursor of the Armenian KGB.
