Kotelnikovsky District (Russian: Коте́льниковский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-three in Volgograd Oblast, Russia. As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Kotelnikovsky Municipal District. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 3,471 square kilometers (1,340 sq mi). Its administrative center is the town of Kotelnikovo. Population: 37,584 (2010 Census); 36,856 (2002 Census);38,660 (1989 Census). The population of Kotelnikovo accounts for 54.4% of the district's total population.
