Kortright is a town in Delaware County, New York, United States. The population was 1,675 at the 2010 census. The town is in the northern part of the county.

Kortright was formed from the town of Harpersfield in 1793.

The West Kortright Presbyterian Church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 62.6 square miles (162.2 km2), of which 62.4 square miles (161.7 km2) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.5 km2) or 0.29%, is water. The West Branch Delaware River forms the southern border of the town and drains more than half of its area. The northern part of the town drains via Kortright Creek and Charlotte Creek to the Susquehanna River at Oneonta.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,633 people, 597 households, and 417 families residing in the town. The population density was 26.1 people per square mile (10.1/km²). There were 994 housing units at an average density of 15.9 per square mile (6.1/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 91.12% White, 5.82% African American, 0.37% Native American, 0.43% Asian, 1.16% from other races, and 1.10% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.31% of the population.
