Kadamai Kanniyam Kattupaadu (Tamil: கடமை கண்ணியம் கட்டுப்பாடு / English : Duty, Discipline, Control) is a 1987 Tamil language Indian feature film directed by Santhana Bharathi for producer Kamal Haasan, starring Sathyaraj, Geetha and Captain Raju in lead roles.The film had no songs and it ran for 100 days in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu making it a box office hit. Sathyaraj proved his versatility acting as a serious police officer and did justice to his role. The film was produced by Kamal Haasan but did not act in the film.
The film revolves around the story of an honest and straightforward Tamil Nadu police officer and his life. The story of the film is an adaptation from I. V. Sasi's Malayalam film Aavanazhi. Music for this movie is scored by Ilaiyaraaja.
