2016 Kabaddi World Cup (Standard style)

The standard style Kabaddi World sly contested in 2004, 2007 and 2016. All the tournaments have been won by India.

The current format of the competition involves a round robin group stage, with 6 teams in 2 pools, with the first and second place finishers of each group progressing to the semi-finals.

India men's national Kabaddi team has been the most dominating team in the world so far. All the three world cups has been won by India so far.

*Canada, the second runner's up in 2004 did not participate in the 2016 World Cup. The Ranking of nations are given by considering the points. Points are calculated by the formula: 10*(total number of kabaddi nations - rank of the opponent)+(score difference)
