Juupajoki is a municipality of Finland.
It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Pirkanmaa region. The municipality has a population of 2,002 (31 March 2016) and covers an area of 258.50 square kilometres (99.81 sq mi) of which 16.47 km2 (6.36 sq mi) is water. The population density is 7.75 inhabitants per square kilometre (20.1/sq mi).
Neighbouring municipalities are Jämsä, Mänttä-Vilppula, Orivesi and Ruovesi.
The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
