Jiangling Tractors

Jiangling Tractor Company, a division of Jiangling Motor Company, produces the Lenar tractors for export to the US and Europe. The parent company has been an automotive manufacturer for over thirty years and counts the multinational Ford Motor Company and Japan-based Isuzu Motors as individual stockholders.

In 2004, 80% of the tractor company was purchased by the Indian automobile conglomerate Mahindra & Mahindra, a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group of Pune, Maharashtra, to join with their Mahindra Tractors subsidiary and today are exporting to over 22 countries worldwide.
