Jarvis is a small community in Haldimand County, Ontario, Canada.

This community is located near the towns of Simcoe, Townsend, Cayuga, Port Dover and Hagersville. Major highways Highway 3 and Highway 6 form a crossroads near the centre of the community. Jarvis is home of the famous annual summer Cornfest. Jarvis also is the home of the Jarvis Travelers Fastball team, winner of the ISC World Tournament of fast-pitch softball (fastball) in 2010. Possibly named after the notorious William Jarvis family of Toronto whose patriarch was very incompetent and selfish during his tenure as a government official, this community offers a traditional rustic small town ambience. Mr. William Jarvis himself was a member of the defunct Family Compact clique which believed in arch-conservative values that directly opposed democracy.

Businesses in the town of Jarvis include a gas station and several restaurants, two convenience stores, beer and wine can be found. There is also a Sears catalogue store and car dealership that also sells motorcycle trikes, a flower store, a new and gently used children's clothing shop, also a butcher shop. There is only one bank in Jarvis (CIBC). Schools include: Jarvis District Christian School (a member of the Ontario Alliance of Christian Schools) and Jarvis Public School. Jarvis also has a tennis court, baseball diamond and a community centre that holds Jack and Jills along with weddings and other events.
