Jane and Finch is a neighbourhood located in the northwest end of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in the district of North York. Centred at the intersection of Jane Street and Finch Avenue West, the area is roughly bounded by Highway 400 to the west, Driftwood Avenue to the east, Grandravine Drive to the south, and Shoreham Drive to the north. It is a multicultural neighbourhood.

The community has one of the largest concentrations of criminal gangs of any area in Canada. It also has "one of the highest proportions of youth, sole-supported families, refugees and immigrants, low-income earners and public housing tenants of any community in Toronto”. In 2002, only 70% of people in the neighborhood had proper indoor plumbing (compared to 95% of Canadians), and brownouts were common. The 2006 Canadian census records that 53.18% of the population eligible to work in Census Track 5350316.03 (an area within Jane and Finch neighborhood) earned an income under $20,000. We therefore see that more than half of the people in this area live below Canada's poverty line. The situation does not change as much in 2011 census. As a matter of fact it worsens as 54.14% of the population earn an income below $20,000.

As well, there is a substantial and equally diverse population living in middle class detached and semi-detached houses, townhouses, and high-rise tower blocks.

As part of a neighbourhood rebranding strategy in 2008, Toronto councillor Anthony Perruzza had banners attached to hundreds of hydro poles in Jane and Finch, calling the area University Heights.
