James Francisco Freitas Iahnke (born 16 August 1968), known as James Freitas, is a Brazilian football manager who is the current assistant manager of Cruzeiro.
James began his career as football coach in the category of base of the Grêmio, assuming command to the U17. he was promoted to command Internacional U20 and became assistant coach at Luverdense and Guaraní, where even was as interim coach.
After returns the basic categories, assuming in the Juventude U20 in 2012 and since 2013, it has returned to Grêmio where first he drove the team U19, for two years, and in 2015, the U20 and after the exit of Luiz Felipe Scolari, rose to command interim team principal.
