Jabalpur Junction (Station Code  : JBP), is an important railway junction station of Jabalpur City in Madhya Pradesh. It is the headquarters of West Central Railway.

The station is sometimes called the Jabalpur main station. Jabalpur serves as the headquarters of the West Central Railway zone and is one of the busiest railway stations in Madhya Pradesh. Jabalpur being the third largest city of Madhya Pradesh and with no suburban railway system caused the British to build 10 different railway stations across the city to manage the railway traffic and passengers across the city.

The Jabalpur station is one of the major stations in the Howrah-Allahabad-Mumbai line (via Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Katni, Allahabad, Mughal Sarai, Dhanbad) and construction is under progress for Jabalpur-Nagpur narrow gauge conversion to broad gauge under Indian Railways Project Unigauge.

The railway station of Jabalpur is located on broad gauge line and is a terminus for a narrow gauge line. It consists of 6 broad gauge platforms and 1 narrow gauge platform. It is well sheltered and furnished, meeting up all the passenger needs as follows:

Major stations within city are Jabalpur Main, Madan mahal,Kachhpura, Bhitoni, Howbagh Jabalpur, Gwarighat Jabalpur, Gosalpur, Devri, Adhartal, Bargi and Bhedghat.

The Jabalpur Junction is a broad gauge as well as narrow gauge station. It is connected with Katni to the north east, Itarsi to the south west and Gondia, Nainpur and Balaghat to the south by narrow gauge. The Narrow gauge also connects with Chhindwara and Nagpur. On 1 October Narrow gauge line stop working as per order of railway ministry hence this rail route is converting as Jabalpur Nagpur broad gauge line. Within state, it is well connected to Bhopal, Ujjain, Gwalior Junction, Indore, Khandwa, Ratlam and Bina. In the 2011-2012 Railway Budget, a new line up to Sagar via Udaipura is proposed for survey.
