Italian cheese

This is a list of Italian cheeses. Italy is one of the most productive cheese regions, with well over 450 varieties, well more than the estimated 350 varieties of French cheese. In terms of raw production volume, Italy is the third largest cheese producer in the EU, behind France and Germany.
