According to the 2010 census, Industry has a total area of 0.461 square miles (1.19 km2), of which 0.46 square miles (1.19 km2) (or 99.78%) is land and 0.001 square miles (0.00 km2) (or 0.22%) is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 540 people, 208 households, and 163 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,146.2 people per square mile (443.6/km²). There were 223 housing units at an average density of 473.3 per square mile (183.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.22% White, 0.37% African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.56% Asian, 0.19% from other races, and 1.48% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.93% of the population.
There were 208 households out of which 33.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.4% were married couples living together, 13.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 21.2% were non-families. 20.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.60 and the average family size was 2.99.
