Industry is a village in McDonough County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2000 census, the village population was 540.

Industry is located at 40°19′36″N 90°36′23″W / 40.32667°N 90.60639°W / 40.32667; -90.60639 (40.326600, -90.606499).

According to the 2010 census, Industry has a total area of 0.461 square miles (1.19 km2), of which 0.46 square miles (1.19 km2) (or 99.78%) is land and 0.001 square miles (0.00 km2) (or 0.22%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 540 people, 208 households, and 163 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,146.2 people per square mile (443.6/km²). There were 223 housing units at an average density of 473.3 per square mile (183.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 97.22% White, 0.37% African American, 0.19% Native American, 0.56% Asian, 0.19% from other races, and 1.48% from two or more races.
