The Indore–Pune Superfast Express is a Superfast trains of the Indian Railways which runs between Indore Junction railway station in Madhya Pradesh and Pune Junction railway station in Maharashtra.

It is the first rail connection between Indore and Pune other being Indore–Pune Express (via Panvel).

The Indore–Pune Superfast runs with Indian locomotive class WAP-5 & sometimes with Indian locomotive class WAP-4 & Indian locomotive class WCAM 2/2P.

It is runs 5 days a week & covers the distance of 966  km in 17 hours 30 mins as 22944 Indore–Pune Superfast Express at 55 km/hr & 17 hours 10 mins as 22945 Pune - Indore Express 56 km/hr.

Train no 22944/22944 consists an additional AC II tier coach.

Both trains are hauled by a Vadodara Electric Loco Shed based WAP-5 or WAP-4 electric locomotives. Occasionally, it has also been hauled by a WAP-7 locomotive.

At Karjat, both trains get two or three WAG-5, WAG-7 or WCAM-2 bankers of Kalyan Loco Shed shed to push the train on the ghat section between Karjat railway station and Lonavala railway station, where the gradient is of 1 in 40.
