Indiana's 5th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of Indiana that takes in the eastern and northern suburbs of Indianapolis, including Marion, Carmel, Anderson, Noblesville, and parts of Kokomo. This suburban district is predominantly white.
The district is currently represented by Republican Susan Brooks.
Before the 2000 U.S. Census, the 5th Congressional District was located it what is now parts of the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Districts.
As of May 2015[update], three former members of the U.S. House of Representatives from Indiana's 5th congressional district are alive.
