The 21st Congressional District of Illinois was a congressional district for the United States House of Representatives in Illinois. It was eliminated as a result of the 1990 Census. It was last represented by Jerry Costello who was redistricted into the 12th District.
As of May 2015[update], one former member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Illinois's 21st congressional district is alive. The most recent representative to die was Kenneth J. Gray (1963-1973) on July 12, 2014. The most recently serving representative to die was Charles Melvin Price (1983-1988), who died in office on April 22, 1988.
